Joe Mikulik of the Asheville Tourist has been selected as the Manager and Ross Grimsley of the Augusta GreenJackets has been selected as the Coach of the 2008 Annual All-Star team. For both Mikulik and Grimsley, this is the second year in a row that they have been selected to the All-Star Team.

The West Virginia Power had three representatives, including Eric Fryer (designated hitter), Steffan Wilson (utility infielder) and Caleb Gindl (utility outfielder). The Rome Braves had two representatives, including Frederick Freeman (first base) and Jason Heyward (outfielder and Most Outstanding Major League Prospect). Augusta, Charleston, Greensboro and Lakewood each had one representative on the All-Star Team. Augusta''s Madison Bumgarner (left-handed pitcher and Most Outstanding Pitcher), Charleston''s Jesus Montero (catcher) and Greensboro''s Michael Stanton (outfielder) complete the All-Star lineup.
